Benissa
Benissa is the perfect place to relax and unwind with its beautiful beaches, coves and beautiful scenery! There are several beaches. Les Bassetes beach offers breathtaking views of the bay and rocky coastline. Playa La Fustera is highly recommended for a day of sunbathing and swimming. For something more quiet, you can head over to Cala Pinets, which is less crowded than other local beaches.
For those who like hiking, there are beautiful hiking trails along the coastline. Highly recommended, but make sure to wear good shoes.
Eating out in Benissa contributes to a wonderful holiday. The range of restaurants and cafes is varied. Having breakfast at a Xiringuito (a beach bar) or live music by the sea at Xiringuito Olalà while drinking a delicious cocktail.
With a wide range of dining options, you will find something for everyone.
Moraira
Moraira is a former small fishing village that has become one of the most popular holiday destinations on the Costa Blanca in Spain. The small coastal town of Moraira is part of the slightly more inland city of Teulada. It is located between the larger towns of Denia and Calpe and borders Benissa.
While the people in the very Spanish town of Teulada live from the agricultural sector, Moraira is a lively seaside resort where tourists can enjoy their holidays. Due to its location between the green hills, Moraira has developed into a calm, yet modern holiday resort without the touristis high-rise buildings, large hotels and apartment complexes.
In this part of the Costa Blanca the sun shines an average of 320 days a year, making it a perfect location for an all year round holiday destination.
Altea
Altea is not immediately well known to the general public, but that makes it all the more interesting. From Benissa you can reach Altea in about 25 minutes.
It is a beautiful town with white houses, narrow streets and beautiful views at the foot of the Sierra de Bérnia.
The old center of Altea, with its famous blue domes, is especially worth a visit. Or take a lovely walk along the long boulevard that extends to the town of Albir.
